MFA: Explosion proves blatant Hizbullah rearmament and accumulation of weapons and ordnance, in flagrant violation of UN Security Council Resolution 1701

Upon instructions from Jerusalem, the Israeli mission to the United Nations in New York has requested that the UN Secretary-General and the President of the Security Council (the Ambassador of Uganda), share with Israel the findings of the investigation conducted by the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) into the explosion two days ago (Tuesday, July 14 2009) of a Hizbullah weapons depot in south Lebanon, in close proximity to the Israeli border.
