Israel has been severely criticised in the Swedish media for its military actions in Gaza. Despite the fact that the Palestinians constantly contravene international laws and the Geneva Convention, it is usually Israel that is urged to practise restraint, writes Mi Grandin, who is of the opinion that Sweden, on account of its biased outlook, has long since outlived its role in the Middle East debate.
